Warming Center/Charging Station – Saturday, February 4th
Extremely low temperatures are anticipated in our area over the next few days. The Town of Ashford will open the following facilities as Warming Centers/Charging Stations for individuals who do not have adequate heat:
Ashford Senior Center is available tomorrow or as needed. Please call the First Selectman’s office at 860-487-4400 or 860-634-3489 for assistance.
Saint Philip the Apostle Church will have their Rec Center open, Saturday, February 4th for those in need.
Babcock Library is open Saturday from 9am to 1pm.
Information about the location of regional shelters and other services is available by dialing 211 and emergency assistance is available by calling 911.

In response to the freezing temperatures, the Governor has activated Connecticut’s Severe Cold Weather protocol. This went into effect at 12:00 PM Thursday and stays in effect until 12:00 PM on Sunday, February 5.
