3/16/2020 In response to the growing concerns surrounding the pandemic COVID-19, First Selectman Ralph Fletcher has declared a state of emergency for the Town of Ashford. All town buildings are closed to the public until further notice. Town Offices will be staffed Tuesday and Wednesday, March 17th and 18th, until 3 P.M. There will be no Wednesday evening hours. A thorough cleaning will be made of the Town Office Building on Thursday, March 19th, and the building will remain closed throughout the weekend. Office staffing will be re-evaluated at that time.

The Transfer Station will operate during normal hours, but the swap shed and book shed will remain closed. Please do not loiter. To keep our Transfer Station employees safe we ask that you please maintain a distance of at least six feet from them and each other.
