Ashford School Veterans Assembly-Friday, November 10, 2023

Ashford School would like to invite all Ashford Veterans and an adult guest to breakfast and an assembly at Ashford School to honor our local veterans.   This will take place on Friday, November 10, 2023 at Ashford School.  Breakfast will be at 9:00am and the assembly will begin at 10:00am.  We will have music from our chorus, band, and a guest speaker.   Please RSVP to Ashford School by  Friday, November 3, 2023. This year we will be collecting holiday food items for the food pantry at Veterans Base Camp in Chaplin CT.  We will be collecting food items from October 11, 2023 to November 10, 2023. The items we are collecting are:

 

  • Chicken Broth
  • Stuffing Mix
  • Cranberry Sauce
  • Gravy
  • Store Gift Cards for Turkey or Chicken
  • Green Beans
  • Dried Onions for green bean casserole
  • Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • Pie Crusts
  • Cans of Pie Filling
  • Instant Pudding Mixes
  • Canned Sweet Potatoes
  • Cookie Mixes
  • Brownie Mixes
  • Dessert Mixes
  • Brown Sugar
  • Sugar
  • Chocolate Chips
  • Baking Soda
  • Baking Powder
